| The Art of Gift Giving |
Gift giving is an art form, and there are some simple steps to follow to help you get it right:
- Make sure you give gifts because you want to. You won’t put the same emphasis and care into the gift giving process if you’re only doing it because you feel obliged to.
- Make notes of what your friends and family express an interest in. This will help you remember what things they might like when it comes to buying the perfect gift for them.
- Put thought into a gift geared specifically to the recipient. The gift you give should say something about your relationship with them.
- Never buy something for someone that they would buy for themselves. If you give a gift, make it something they want but would never think of buying due to price or other factors.
- Wrap the gift well. Taking the time to do it right says a lot about the care and attention you put into the gift - and putting a note on the gift or a quick poem to say why you felt the gift would be perfect for them makes it extra special.
