After 12 months of planning and developing, the Fuzzybuttons.com web shop was launched in September 2009. The journey to get to the glorious point of e-commerce independence was not easy, but we're glad we did it.
The journey began in December 2007 when we were shopping for bath time treats for ourselves and to give to our friends as gifts at Christmas. We couldn't find anything to suit our wallets on the high street so turned to the internet. We found lots and lots of fantastic products which (in our opinion) were high quality, yet value for money - but only if you were prepared to buy £100's worth at a time...
So that's when the "big conversation" began. We started kicking around ideas about spending £100's and repackaging the bath bombs, bath fizzers and bath potions into smaller bags for giving to our friends. Which progressed into the "bigger conversation" about how we couldn't be the only people with this problem.
So we did it - stuck our toe in the water, bought some stock, designed some packaging, got hold of some bubble wrap and started out gently on a popular auction site (you know who we mean ;-) and launched FuzzyButtons (slowly) in October 2008.
The first 6 months of trading were really fun. We learned a lot about ourselves and more importantly what our customers really wanted - and that was a website they could navigate easily with better product pictures.
So here it is - FuzzyButtons.com, a shop full of high quality affordable Bath Bombs, Bath Salts and Chill Pills for you and your friends. We love our new web shop and hope you find it as simple, elegant & intuitive as we do.
